Blogday 21(-20)_100days: Storm...Friday

 Multiple different days of problems posting here...


Friday, was about to go down & watch Maddow but recorded it because our local channel's weather guy was doing a filibuster (his young assistant *did* get on to spell him for a bit) because there were massive wind & lightning in a fast moving storm, then BOOM, power went out. We *rarely* lose power as we are on the trunk line and main street for the 'come-lately' (newer) richest multi-million dollar homes in the county, just 'blocks' (kinda rural) away. Between us and them is the trailhead to access the water storage wetland, reservoir and forest hiking trails (where everyone hikes, including me, for decades when I've been in this state, though less so with SO MANY now having a stay-at-home schedule, so it's way more busy then it used to be).

Anyway...boom, Turns out a neighbor's tree went down & blocked both lanes & took out the electric line. Luckily, I'm a canldle burner (I've called myself a professional candle burner, as it's a key part of inducing a mood of spirituality for me), so the 12 candles in the fireplace came to be very useful. Plus some flashlights. No one slept great, and we sat on the covered patio for a bit to cool off as but the utility guys had it up by very early morning....which led to blogday 22

  A team I'm on posted the q: "How have you been getting groceries". I started to answer, but once I got into it, and got personal, I opted to not post my very long answer to clog the thread, so I'm posting here. Most of the team did some form of online ordering. I go in and shop, sometimes taking advantage of senior hours, sometimes doesn't work out w/schedules. Also, 4 times so far, my sister, who's an essential IT nursing home worker, and out and about for herself anyway would get us stuff, but she's very into meat and not great at veg. {Okay...here's the bi*ching & whining}: I have no one else to tell, except my one sister (not the IT one, the ww one) and have already said after this is over I am leaving or not doing it anymore: I'm very picky*/specific about veg as is mom about random stuff, and she's 80; I currently live with her (and dad, 85), and still get shouted at because nothing's ever perfect—but the whole fam knows that an

Dec. '21 SMART -er Goals Plan & Visualizations

30 days hath...November....so it's time to write out my: D e c e m b e r 2021 SMART -er Goals Plan Tomorrow is Wed., Dec. 1, day 1 of a new month (+ a new moonth cycle begins Sat. Dec. 4: New Moon in Sag...more on that in another blog post) When thinking about my goals recently, I had several things I noted that I wanted to include in my goals list, though key was weight loss, after being shocked at the Dr.'s office last week (the rest are the 7 self-improvement goals at the bottom):     -KEY goal: weight loss,⚖😏🙆🙈🙉🙊😻 of course (ideal would be 10 pounds down, then 100 in 2022, then the rest in 2023). Unfortunately,😢😭😿 I won't be able to hit my original goal of 200 down by doing 10 pounds a month by my 60th in early Feb., 2023, but that's okay,😨😢😟, I guess,😧😦😣😬 or so I am trying to tell myself👽👸😝😱😳👅...it would have been great to do so😔😒😑... but I messed that up with my re-gain in this 2nd year of the pandemic (...
