Day 4 (-3): Blogging 100 days Challenge: Say his name: GEORGE FLOYD

Image
No justice. That video of the cop sitting with his knee on his neck, choking someone, is sickening. I could only watch it fully once. It's literally sickening; as someone pointed out, George Floyd literally narrated his own death. Also, just watched CNN reporter, Omar Jiminez, and his team, getting arrested on live TV, for literally nothing. As Bakari Sellars pointed out, they aren't arresting the white reporter's team a block away Member Comments About This Blog Post v MILPAM3 Amazing that police officers feel such entitlement, and not one of the four had a lick of sense. 443 days ago v CD9166467 From Canada... my sympathy to the family and friends of George Floyd and to all those whose property was damaged in the riots last night. I believe in protest, but not in rioting. Hoping for justice and for the return of common sense and justice, not only to Minneapolis but to the U.S. Like many of you, I am hoping for a change in November. 443 days ago v KPHEALTHY4LIFE 443 days

Day 3 (-2): Blogging 100 days Challenge: Food Plan for rest of dinners this week

Image
Dinner planning for the (shorter) week, at this point; lots of potatoes because they need to be used up, and are super popular with the fam; also I don't always eat the meat protein (I'm just not a fan, & sometimes sub out for me with veg protein, but the fam are definitely carni, & set-in-their-ways about it; lastly, I'm feeling like I am gonna push the fam on eating more international foods, which is my specialty when I lived alone or with ex's; also, most nights we have a BIG salad (I eat a lot of it) of lettuce, sometimes tomatoes, cucumbers, other veg: T: -tonight: zoodles, probably garlicParm  gimmedelicious.c om/garlic-parmesan-zoodles/ but maybe...? something from  www.sparkpeople. com/blog/blog.asp?post=22_ unexpected_ways_to_create_ unbelievable_dishes_with_zucchini or  www.sparkpeople. com/blog/blog.asp?post=25_ delicious_dishes_to_make_w ith_your_spiralizer also some tasty looking versions here:  lifemadesweeter. com/one-pot-teriyaki-chick en-zoodl

Day 2 (-1): Blogging 100 days Challenge...bugging me

Image
Missed blogging here yesterday, due to technical difficulties out of my control, but I am being okay with that; super tired today...gonna have to move it up earlier in day Re: Covid exposure: shopped at grocery superStore yesterday cuz fam *NEEDED* ice cream, so spent time today cleaning produce I left in the garage Dealing with ant infestation in the kitchen...seem to be appearing from where counter meets backsplash, near sink; at least I was finally allowed to have some of the cannisters removed off the counter! Went for walk in the woods before shopping & hours later felt a tick crawling on my head; took a very long shower Fam bugging me too, off and on, which isn't completely unusual. 3 things I'm grateful for: -health of fam, so far -ginger tea, settling my stomach -slow-churn chocolate moose tracks ice cream; got me thru the 2nd long bout with the ants today (it wasn't me who left stuff out knowing we were having problems....)0 Member Comments About This Blog Po
