Growing my

Growing your inner garden

In order to grow anything in a garden, a lot of factors must come into play--properly planting the seeds or flowers into the soil, watering, weeding, fertilizing, and ensuring adequate sunlight. Are you tending to your own goals in the same fashion? Getting that new job takes determination and positive vision to make that dream a reality. Do you believe in your abilities? Believing is a wonderful, powerful tool but it takes more than that. You've got to fight the elements, take good care of yourself, and dig down deep for courage in order for your seeds to be cultivated into success."

Yes...I am a Master Gardener, and I know that it takes the right mix of sun, soil, water and seeds/plants to grow things, and lots of intense fiddling, sometimes, too. Yet, I sometimes have no patience for these:
the "inner garden" of career, and the 'outer' "garden" of my job....

Must cultivate the patience for cultivating* these "inner gardens", along with my spirituality...which reminds me of HS French class: "cultiver son jardin"...and to cultivate, I always thought Moliere meant to
"Il faut cultiver son jardin" citation Candide, de Voltaire Littérature française.

Apparently Voltaire's final words in Candide...and to cultivate, I finally realized Moliere meant to hoe or weed lightly with a fork or rake, however it may also mean to maintain or grow....

Also, while researching/revisiting HS Moliere, from wiki-quote, another quote I remember from HS:
Il faut manger pour vivre, et non pas vivre pour manger.
One must eat to live, and not live to eat.
L'Avare (1668), Act III, sc. i
