Down ~5 pounds @ The Week that Was: 8-21 to 8-28, 2021

 Sat. 8-21: Learned A was coming here for several days, tidied mopped, washed dishes, roomba'd Sun. 8-22: Supposed to go to Lansing to get A: left very late after more cleaning (3 loads of dishes) (arriving before 6pm); had pizza, got stuck in traffic on way there and esp. on way home; then went to Meijer's for provisions (esp. milk, bread, waffles) Mon. 8-23: family breakfast of waffles (except me); drove to big school playground; had sandwiches for lunch; went swimming; Culver's for dinner; played cat card game; went to L's for night Z shift but her late leaving meant was unnecessary Tues. 8-24: A had breakfast of waffles; drove to L's & A walked Z, stopped at Westgate park to rate gym eqpt; went swimming (2 lil boys there, then hit head, did rite), lunch @ 2:30; then went to Z's but Ivanhoe had been there; then Comstock for bank for L; then Marshall to meet X, dropped A off; went to Battle Creek Horrocks Wed. 8-25: Went to L's for Z kinda late (11ish)...

Goals for rest of Week 8-15 to 8-21/2

 (Sun+M): spark page copying; (Tues): weird schedule (spark closed at 7:50 AM so went to sleep then; later: walk in woods, talk to Sara on phone; (Wed): {sore a bit} sat with tato, watered garden, eggs on raisin breads & cheesestick for lunch; did 30 min art journo page; made dinner salad...meat in plastic, scallopotatoes in plastic, salad, mom veg Th-Sat GOALS prep for Blue Moon in Aq 👉😎progress on basement...just do it*** 👉😍papers for car 👉start a workout streak🚲🎑🎆🎉🏃: workout on the daily log food & h20 water back garden...W, F, Sat/Sun (may rain SATpm) plant lilies(Th) , seeds, natives, more seeds, hydrangea, ?pentas? ?lantana?? transplant the crowded seeds of mold that are growing harvest: mint , nettles, grapevines Meijer's returns & PC shopping F: zoom roomba mop compost AUGUST PLANS: go to lake with Sara & kids, because lake, because lake & kids* ***PORTAGE SCHOOLS START Aug 30 (& covidelta will go up then) papers please, because INS lines w...

 Update 6-15-20: Down ~10%, working on next 5% on Summer'20 5% team: 39 from highest last summer, including the 27.6 in 2020; I mostly left Spark during Feb-Mar cuz Covid deniers &(*!'d me off, came back when Grim Reaper made most understand seriousness)          Happy New Year 2020! SMART* Resolutions (same as 2019):       1) Track Food. DAILY. W phone app if not on PC; else paper.       2) Exercise 10 minutes minimum; most days 20 minimum      3) Water: as much as I can, ideally 8+ cups daily; this is KEY, esp. early in day after coffee       *These are steps in furtherance of losing 100 pounds in 2019: 25 every 3 months (~2 pounds weekly, reviewing progress weekly, mo*onthly, seasonally, maybe with challenges)*              OTHER GOALS/Resolutions       4) Organize weekly; 5) Code daily, train using Udemy & FreeCo...

Baby I'm back! Again!! :) ...oh for only 3 weeks.... :( short beginning of my upcoming end

Just came back a couple days ago after snow-shoveling injury (heavy wet snow caused a fee months of constant achy soreness) side-lined me in early spring, then birthdays and winter doldrums & outta thyroid Rx further sank my inspiration and energy. Have since been a bit active with some gardening and also no gas + no electric womxn-powered mowing of third of an acre lawn. Came back with energy, & then gut-punch of losing spark, but making the most of the remaining time here. Nothing lasts forever, & BIG THANKS to you all and to SP for putting out this free resource. Melting March Springs Spring

  My theme for this month (which I did start on Monday, but hadn't been able to blog) , is "Melting March", meaning melting me in the melting environment around me. I had hints of and inspiration for the thaw from others this past Saturday night full moon zoom—populated mostly by people here in the mitten of Michigan, and mostly gardeners, and some slightly colder places: the UP of MI and Quebec—and many of them mentioned seeing snowdrops (a first flower of Spring) near them. That day, our snowdrops were still under 2 feet of snow. But now I had heard of others’ first tangible sign of Spring springing in...we still had temps that I decided were too cold and icy for me to go for walks safely, especially after hurting my hip last month snow-shoveling.       February was a bit of a bust for me, on the sparking front, as it has often been: short and brutish (and brutishly cold, after a mostly mild winter), indulgent, cozy, and including resolution-busting events like fam...
