Day 1, again: Blogging 100 days Challenge; New Moon (Gemini)

  So my last blogging challenge was interrupted by Covid, as I was an early Covid prepper (& irritated with those here who were in active and vocal denial, though I've gotten over that anger, which was my own maladaptive and non-compassionate response). I've been back, off and on, and off, but have mostly been engaged with and following my Spark plan, though I haven't always logged my food and my movement, lately. Almond Macaro(o)ns

 Not exactly macaroons (which I think of as coconut) nor the recently trendy macarons (which are almond based, but more fussy?) these are more like the latter. Had an expired box of Solo almond paste, so needed to use it up...this recipe is from the back of the box, with 1 change: maraschino cherries are now cherries from canned cherry pie filling. Ingredients: 8 oz Solo Almond Paste 1 egg white 0.5 C sugar 5 oz Cherry Pie Filling (18 cherries) Direc tio ns: Preheat oven to 325F In food processor, break up almond paste, then process, add sugar & process, then add egg white and process for 2 min  (that basically seemed unnec...probly 20 sec was enough...but I followed the directions); Divide into 18 and roll balls (/pipe into stars) onto silicone-lined (silpat) sheet. Flatten & press thumb into it; place a cherry into each thumbprint, trying not to get much of the filling. Blogday 18(-7)_100days: Down 10%; Next 5% moves

  Made a hand-written plan yesterday, but didn't get chance to type it here, and not doing that now (may do another post tonight) Just wanted to acknowledge that I just realized, depending on how/when I calculate the beginning...I'm either at or coming up on 10% down. Yay. Gonna do next 5% on Summer 5% Challenge team (is still in sign-ing up members stage, so check it out on my teams!). I'm doing 'Casual Travelers', because it stresses me out to HAVE to post daily, even though I often do, esp. when scale doesn't move. We're supposed to have an exercise plan, 20 minutes minimum in 2020: *I do cardio: either low-impact aerobics, spinning, walking, gardening, &/cleaning daily, enough to engage aerobic benefits, for 20 minutes.
