Sat. weight -1.6 pounds; Enjoying summer; Working out; August Goals; Blog39/100(-39)
Hi everyone! I haven't been logging into spark much lately, but have been consistent with getting in 2 hours of activity most days for weeks, and have posted a loss every week in July, though one was small, and one was a re-loss (lost and gained and lost again); it's pretty incredible because I started out the year with having a hard time doing 10 min. a day, AND finding the motivation for 10 minutes daily, consistently. I've been careful about doing primarily low impact stuff, but I've started tip-toeing into a few higher impact minutes, out of both boredom, challenge, and desire to burn more calories; I can tell it's harder as I'm the good kind of 'sore' afterwards; though I WAS getting tired of that for a while and had started incorporating more yoga and stretches.

This month's goals again include coding, cleaning the basement, campaigning, starting an autumn garden, writing more, & laptop tabs to 13 max, & keeping to my health program. I've been trying to start my day early again, but haven't been able to lately. So that's a goal for the week, but it takes time to reset the body clock, just as it takes time to reset the 'set point' for weight (which I'm not so sure I believe, but have those sparkticles on my list to read at some point), and my sleep has always been inconsistent, and even more so in 2020.

Will post some of the pics of our July flowers soon as I download them to an easily transferrable device.

You’ve got a great plan. Getting up earlier helps with everything once you get used to it. I’m running pass the fridge for bed because I’m up so early lol

That's really great that you have increased your exercise activity, and that you posted a weight loss for every week in July.
I hear you about trying to get your body clock reset. I've been staying up too late at nights, and I need to make myself get serious about getting to bed earlier each night. I keep thinking about it and telling myself I'll do it, and then it doesn't happen.
I've started going through the Artist's Way book again, and so far I've written my morning pages consistently. Now I've got to get to work at setting and completing other goals.
