30 days hath...November....so it's time to write out my: D e c e m b e r 2021 SMART -er Goals Plan Tomorrow is Wed., Dec. 1, day 1 of a new month (+ a new moonth cycle begins Sat. Dec. 4: New Moon in Sag...more on that in another blog post) When thinking about my goals recently, I had several things I noted that I wanted to include in my goals list, though key was weight loss, after being shocked at the Dr.'s office last week (the rest are the 7 self-improvement goals at the bottom):     -KEY goal: weight loss,⚖πŸ˜πŸ™†πŸ™ˆπŸ™‰πŸ™ŠπŸ˜» of course (ideal would be 10 pounds down, then 100 in 2022, then the rest in 2023). Unfortunately,😒😭😿 I won't be able to hit my original goal of 200 down by doing 10 pounds a month by my 60th in early Feb., 2023, but that's okay,😨😒😟, I guess,😧😦😣😬 or so I am trying to tell myselfπŸ‘½πŸ‘ΈπŸ˜πŸ˜±πŸ˜³πŸ‘…...it would have been great to do soπŸ˜”πŸ˜’πŸ˜‘... but I messed that up with my re-gain in this 2nd year of the pandemic (... October (& November & beyond) &5% Goals

It's Day '1' of October, for me--just like the congressional legislative calendar, which has been known to be 150+days for one day! But really it's because Fridays are often one of the busiest days of the week, which was yesterday, October 1. Also... Also, also, also: it's the first day of the Autumn 5% challenge, originally on sparkpeople, now on MyFitnessPal. SO...it's kinda Day 1. Plus I am fine with not starting my begin with October stuff until today, when I have time to do it. Things like hacktoberfest, drawtober & nano's preptober. After all, I *did* eat pumpkin spice ice cream yesterday, so not bad. I had wanted to go for a walk, but it is now rainy, but maybe it will clear up? Otherwise I will have to figure out a way to get some other exercise.  UPDATE: It did clear up, the radar showed it was gonna be clear until evening, and L. came over, so I went. Probably *too* long...I may have overdone it...hiked back on side of road. So, here goes, my 3...

 Sat. 8-21: Learned A was coming here for several days, tidied mopped, washed dishes, roomba'd Sun. 8-22: Supposed to go to Lansing to get A: left very late after more cleaning (3 loads of dishes) (arriving before 6pm); had pizza, got stuck in traffic on way there and esp. on way home; then went to Meijer's for provisions (esp. milk, bread, waffles) Mon. 8-23: family breakfast of waffles (except me); drove to big school playground; had sandwiches for lunch; went swimming; Culver's for dinner; played cat card game; went to L's for night Z shift but her late leaving meant was unnecessary Tues. 8-24: A had breakfast of waffles; drove to L's & A walked Z, stopped at Westgate park to rate gym eqpt; went swimming (2 lil boys there, then hit head, did rite), lunch @ 2:30; then went to Z's but Ivanhoe had been there; then Comstock for bank for L; then Marshall to meet X, dropped A off; went to Battle Creek Horrocks Wed. 8-25: Went to L's for Z kinda late (11ish)...

 Update 6-15-20: Down ~10%, working on next 5% on Summer'20 5% team: 39 from highest last summer, including the 27.6 in 2020; I mostly left Spark during Feb-Mar cuz Covid deniers &(*!'d me off, came back when Grim Reaper made most understand seriousness)          Happy New Year 2020! SMART* Resolutions (same as 2019):       1) Track Food. DAILY. W phone app if not on PC; else paper.       2) Exercise 10 minutes minimum; most days 20 minimum      3) Water: as much as I can, ideally 8+ cups daily; this is KEY, esp. early in day after coffee       *These are steps in furtherance of losing 100 pounds in 2019: 25 every 3 months (~2 pounds weekly, reviewing progress weekly, mo*onthly, seasonally, maybe with challenges)*              OTHER GOALS/Resolutions       4) Organize weekly; 5) Code daily, train using Udemy & FreeCo...
